The Colter Elementary School (CES) Library's annual book fair runs from November 3rd to November 10th, 2016.
Students will attend library classes according to their normal specials rotation, and will use the time to hear about books and shop. They are encouraged to bring money from home for shopping on their book fair day. The fair is open from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. November 3rd, 4th, 8th, and 10th. The fair stays open until 7 p.m. November 7th and 9th, when evening conferences are held at CES.
Special events at the fair this year include a donation and an author visit. An anonymous donor is granting $7 to every student at Colter School to ensure that all kids are able to bring a book home from the fair.
Nanci Turner Steveson, author of Swing Sideways (Harper Collins, 2016) will visit the fair on Monday evening from 5:30-7 p.m. to meet students and sign copies of her book. Celebrate reading with us at this year's book fair!
