Advanced Placement Program

JHHS is an AP School recognized by the College Board, offering numerous Advanced Placement courses. These courses are available to students in good standing who have completed prerequisites, except under special circumstances as approved by the teacher and the principal. Each course follows the national Advanced Placement curriculum. A student must take the AP exam to receive AP credit on his or her transcript. As of 2013, JHHS will pay the testing fee for AP students.

A student enrolled in an AP course may also be eligible to receive early college credit by registering with Central Wyoming College. Credit will be earned at both CWC and JHHS.
